I filed for my advance parole in November 2004 with a recipet date of
Novemaber19,2004. I was surprised to recieve a Ref on Jnauary 10 2005,
they said I did not include proof of filed I-485 which I know I did.
Sent in a new one in January 12th 2005 which the website say the
recieved January 24, 2005.
Does any one know how long it will take them to process after the ref.
My ticket is alraedy confirmed for Feb 3 and I have not heared from
them. Is it adviseable that I travel and have my husband send the
advance parole to me. Is they anyway I can make them approve it earlier
and send to me. I am reallyu confused.

In my experience (I had a K1 Visa) they are processing an Advanced
Parole, based on the fact you are adjusting status. Do NOT travel
without one.
They may not let you back in, or you can be seen as abandoning your
application.
I'm sure others will be able to more specifically asist you...

I would not advise leaving the US without the advance parole. When I
applied for the AP back in February 2004 I figured it would take a month
to process...only it didn't. I had already booked my flight for May. I
ended up having to cancel my flight because I didn't receive my AP until
like 2 weeks after I was supposed to leave. It was a big pain in the a.s
and this year I'm waiting to receive my AP (which I just filed about 2
weeks ago and have a NOA date of January 25th) before I book any
tickets!!
I don't know what to tell you, but be warned that if you do leave
without the AP and anything goes wrong that you may not be allowed to
come back to the US!

Hi:
What good would it do to have your husband send the advance parole to
you? It pays to remember that the ingress/egress records have improved
dramatically since 9/11. And even if you got away with getting past
CBP, CIS will spot that you abandoned your application at the time of
interview.
If you want to convert to consular processing, that is your option.
Good luck.
