We are moving back to the UK later this year. We live in Atlanta
now........and with the Atlanta BCIS the way it is..........we don't
anticipate approval of DH's AOS before we move to the UK (the avg wait
time in Atlanta for AOS is around 36 months). My question
is............when we leave........how do we withdraw DH's AOS
application? (is there a form or proper steps to take?)Obviously we
won't be needing it since we will be living in the UK.

Cheers,

Leslie

I don't believe you actually have to withdraw it... once he doesn't show
up for the interview, his AOS will be deemed abandoned.

Hi:

A letter will be fine IMHO.  BTW, departure is a "withdrawal" as a
matter of law unless one has advance parole.

Thanks..........I just want to jump thru any necessary hoops in case DH
decides to come back to visit with me in the future. You know how those
pesky INS guys at the airport are.

Cheers,

Leslie
