My husband originally applied for AOS in NYC in October 2003. He had
his first fingerprinting/biometrics in November of 2003.
Our AOS interview is scheduled for April 7 in Garden City, NY. On
Friday, we received a NOA that says that his fingerprinting/biometrics
is due to expire and we needed another biometrics appointment. The
first available appointment we were able to get anywhere in the five
boroughs is on April 9 (two days after our AOS interview). Is this
going to be a problem in terms of the interview? Are we allowed to
try to walk-in before our scheduled appointment at one of the
biometrics centers?
Thanks for any replies in advance.

Just walk in to the biometrics office early one morning. They usually
take people with notices without appointments. Be pleasant and bring
your AOS appointment letter to confirm your needs. And, please be
prepared to wait.
