Anyone ever taken a baby to an AOS interview? If so did they (the INS)
say anything about it?

I've heard that it's a good idea to bring the baby if it can behave
well, and it's especially effective to let the father hold the baby. :)

Hi:
There is nothing wrong with taking "evidence" of the "bona fides" of a
marriage to the interview. Also, sometimes, it shortens the interview
and perhaps even gets you moved up in line of the people waiting there.

But, check with your local office on the subject. In San Francisco,
applicants are often instructed not to bring children because of limited
seating space. (You can bring the baby's birth certificate instead.)

Hi,
Our AOS letter from Chicago specifically stated NOT to bring children
with you "unless otherwise instructed".

Someone has to take care of the baby, why not mother and father. We
took our two month old son with us, and his birth certificate and a
copy for the USCIS. Our interview was short, but the waiting time
wasn't - be prepared.

They were nice to the baby, but still did ask us questions and asked
for more paperwork (I-130 granted, but request for evidence for I-485).
Regards,
Peter

we took our son along with us and it was OK - interview was cut short
because our son started to cry little bit :)

Hi we took our Daughter to our interview as we had no one to look
after her and as we were also applying for her. I think our
interview got cut short as I didn't get asked half the questions I
can see some people have been asked on this forum. My daughter is
normally really shy with new people and would not move but for some
reason she was so hipper and wanted to climb all over the mans desk
and run behind to were he was sitting. I was surprised she was 11
months at the time. So I think by the end of it he wanted to get
rid of us.
If you want to get in and out if your baby is old enough give lots
of sugar to make them hipper and that will speed it up for you
(only kidding)
