i went thru newark yesterday on my way to boston, so newark was my
POE......you dont get the stamp at newark, and if you have a connecting
flight....make sure that you have at least a 2 hr layover inbetween.
i had only a 90 min layover at newark, and waiting in line to go thru
immigration, then being dragged off to a side room and waiting for them
to actually open the brown envelope was cutting it fine...not to mention
having to transfer my luggage to the connecting flight too, i only made
it with 5 mins to spare.
so short answer, newark, was ok, but i was pressed for time and bear in
mind that you will not get an ead stamp.
hope this helps you :)
I went through Newark in December on K-1 with two K-2 chldren. Left 5
hours layover time between flights. Took 5 mins to get through. Ngh!
Fast, efficient, easy-peasy. Long time spent eating chips - sorry,
french fries - and wandering round shops.
Hope your journey goes as smooth as ours.
