Hi,
My husband's application was sent to Missouri on April 4, 2004 and he
had his interview in Chicago on January 6, 2005, so about nine months.
This is in stark contrast to what the online dates were saying at the
time---if you believed those dates, you had almost a two year wait.

Good luck---oh, and we got our appt. letter in October of 2004 for the
early January date, so plenty of time to prepare.

Hi:

Our receipt date is September 2003.  We have called the NSC and put in
three different inquiries as to our status.  We have also mailed two
status inquiry forms to Chicago.  So far, haven't heard anything.  Each
time we call the NSC, we have to wait 30 days before we can place
another inquiry.  On the fourth time, they transfer you to an
immigration officer.  We are really hoping to hear something before
then!! :-)

The district processing times for Chicago is May 15, 2004.  You are a
couple months after this date.  Once they pass your date, you may call
the NSC and place a status inquiry.
