I finally managed to track him down & hes really happy & excited.
Especially good timing too because the interview date actually falls on
his week off so no worrying about taking time off or getting someone to
cover for him.

Guess I should be thinking about going over our file now but too happy
to bother with that, it can wait until tomorrow, for now I just want to
enjoy the feeling of knowing we have a date set:D

where did you file papers and how long did you wait for interview date?

For the N-400 interview, your spouse can come to the office with you,
but you have to do the interview alone.

Or, *get to* do the interview alone, depending on what you were
hoping for! :D

Mine is for the GC but goodluck with your citizenship one when it comes
up. Thankfully mines a few years away which will give me plenty of time
to decide exactly what Im going to do ( homesick right now so not the
right time to even think about it:D)

Your appointment letter will indicate that only the applicant should
attend the appointment. Only the applicant will be allowed into the
interview room.

No mine says that I am required to attend for initial interview for
adjustment of status. Hope that helps.
