Hi,

I recently got my I-130 petition approved( DCF in London UK), and I am
wondering on what the next step is. I take it that I will receive
another pack in the post without my contacting them? I'm presuming that
the affidavit of support will be included in the next pack, and if so,
how long do they give you to actually get this form filled in? I have to
send a copy over to America for my step father to fill out, and that
could take some time.

Thank you for your help in advance.
John.

John,
The Immigrant Visa Unit in London will send you a checklist of the
documents you require for your interview. When you have all the docs,
you inform London and they schedule and interview for you. There is no
real time limit, just as quickly/not as you like. The petition (likely)
has a validity date of one year.
Your step father can download the most recent version of I-84 at
uscis.gov from the forms page. He doesn't need to wait for you to send
it.

Thank you very much for your reply :)
I'll ask my step father to get downloading straight away!

Thanks,
John.

John,

Congrats on getting approved for DCF!

London has been rejecting a lot of others applications due to their
"Limited to Remain Stamp" versus "Indefinite Leave to Remain Stamp".

I only have LLTR here...but am going to give DCF a shot first.

Jennifer
