Hi:
I was down at LOS today for several items and ran into one of the Senior
Mucky-Mucks who is one first name basis with me. I asked "What's with
InfoPass?" Answer: "Wilma."
This reminded me that InfoPass was first installed in Miami and then was
expanded step by step to be Nationwide. In fact, when it was instituted
in LA, the Miami guy was here to oversee it and explained it at one of
our Bar Liaison meetings.

Steffi,
Just wondering -- Have you had your infopass appt yet? We've heard nothing
on our I-485, filed December 2003.

No, I haven't gone to any Infopass appointments. The last time I went
down there was about a year and a half ago regarding my AP, but if I
remember correctly they didn't have Infopass yet. I've made some
Infopass appointments since then but then always ended up cancelling
before i went. At the moment my files are at CSC and it looks like
they're working on my case so I'm not too worried about making an
Infopass appointment yet. I think Atlanta's on to June 2004 or something
though, so if you have heard nothing at all then maybe you should make
an appointment! Let us know if there's any progress.

CIS should explore "clustering network services" to prevent this sort of
outage. Maybe it's on their list

On a side note, Infopass is back up.

Folinskyinla:
Do you think Wilma might be the reason why Service Center Processing
times have not been updated either in the USCIS systems/website? If
not, do you know the reason and when they might be updated?
Thanks..

Which ones? Because I knwo for example Atlanta was updated October 19th,
so I imagine all the others were too. Are you maybe talking about NBC?

I think by Atlanta you meant that District Office processing dates were
updated on Oct 19. What I meant was Service centers (VSC, CSC, etc)..

Hi:
I'm just passing on the info I was given. Nothing more, nothing less.
