My wife was fingerprinted again months ago, and we have heard nothing.
It has been almost 2 years for us.

Hi Kimberly,

I don't think one is related to the other.  The date of your interview
goes by the backlog at the local office.  The renewal of your prints is
because the validity of the old ones expired.

Hope you do hear something soon!

Every office is different in regards to processing times. I had my
fingerprints done in May for AOS & my interview date is set for this
coming Tuesday but we are dealing with the Indianapolis office so the
back log there is probably not as great as the ones in California.
Hope your wait isnt too much longer.
