Folks,
I need your help in this situation.  I married to one hussy woman.  She
is still on her conditional green card.  We both filed to remove the
condition from the green card.  We were expecting an evidentiary
hearing.  While we were waiting, I found out about her cheatings, heavy
drug abuse, and sleeping for money.  To make the short story long, I
then filed for a divorce.  However due to its busy docket, the court
scheduled the divorce to take place for May 31, 2006.

My question for you is if she doesn't divorce me now, do you think
USCIS will deny her petition to remove her condition from her GC?

Thank you in advance for any support.

Wow... I'm having a very serious deja vu here!

USCIS will deny her petition if you don't show up for the interview.
She can always refile on her own at any time after the divorce is
final, and there is absolutely nothing you can do to prevent her from
refiling.

I have captured your IP address, and through my contacts, we will be
monitoring your ISP for communication related to this issue. Thanks for
the heads up!

She could get the conditions removed even if there was a divorce.
Are you saying that you didn't realize she was a prostitute and drug
addict while before the marriage and for over 2 years of the marriage?
I don't think people in Minnesota are that stupid.

I had a suspicion but I did not realize that until her closest
girlfriends told me the truth about her.    I begged her to divorce me
repeatedly for a very long time.  However, she threatened that she will
file OFP when/if I file for a divorce before the condition is removed
from her green card.  When I was going to bring her girlfriend to
testify at the OFP evidentiary hearing, she threatened them with their
lives and their properties.  All of them were terrified to testify, so
they did not show up.  She found 5 top pro-bono lawyers to work for her
and I went by myself without witnesses.  The court drama was turned
similar to OJ Simpson trial where the guilty is set free and the
innocent is impeached because of lawyers.  Unfortunately, our justice
system is not up to its job of protecting the innocent and prosecuting
the guilty.  Not all that walk free from the courtrooms are innocent
and not all that get death penalty are guilty.

I have seen this behavior before - many times. The OFP would have had
no real effect on you whatsoever. I fail to understand why you would
care that one was filed. In most states, you don't need the spouse's
permission to divorce. You file the papers, it winds its way through
the system, and then you're divorced. Better to be rid of the bitch
than to have her holding you by the balls!

That was a thoroughly stupid thing to do. Even if you had to go into
debt to hire a lawyer, you should not have attended without
representation. I can feel her squeezing them now... it hurts, right?

Absolutely not true. You were stupid... and you paid the price for your
stupidity. Don't trash the system just because you were too stupid to
avail yourself of your constitutional right to counsel.
