Backlog for visa interview appointment???

Been waiting since September for a visa interview appointment from the
American embassy in London. The normal timeline is 4-6 weeks, they say there
is a backlog but my friends hubby applied one month after we did and he had
his appointment Dec. 9th. We call and they just keep saying there is a
backlong. Is anyone experiencing this??

More likely 12 weeks ...
email and check they have your application OK

Hi thanks for replying. There is no email address to contact the embassy,
only phone or writing them. If you know of one that maybe I have missed,
please give it to me!! They have all of our paperwork, etc. Thanks!

thank you to emily for this:
"londonconsular@state.gov

you have to put the case number in the subject and again in the actual
email as well as typing in your full name and your partners full name."

Hi wow thanks. I didnt really understand that timeline thing but I have
emailed the embassy. Do you know how long they take to reply??? Thanks for
your help!!
