We got the NOA for Philip's N-400 about a week ago.

Today, surprisingly, the notice came for his fingerprint appointment.  I
expected that it would take much longer than that.

He goes to Louisville on Feb. 10th to have his prints done.

After that, it's back to the waiting game.

I'm happy to report that at least I know things are moving forward.

Good for you!

I took my wife to the Manchester NH office last week to be reprinted.
Odd since this was done last April. Oh well.

According to the schedule posted on the USCIS site, it looks like
Manchester is processing AOS forms submitted last February. We put in
my wife's forms late March.

tick tock tick tock.

Hopefully things will be moving for us real soon now. :)

Fingerprinting is usually within three months from the date of the first
NOA in the case of naturalization.  Ours was scheduled for July for a
May filing.  And you are right, now it is a waiting game.  You can check
out Ian's timeline for naturalization in Kentucky.

Sorry about the lapse in my reply.  I've been unavailable!

.. but now, thankfully, I am back.

We had about 3 weeks notice.

The fingerprint date is actually in Louisville on Feb. 10, which is
where we went the last time.  I think they try to send you to wherever
is closer.  We're only a little over an hour away from Louisville and
almost three hours to Indianapolis.

The note also said that if we couldn't go on that day, that we could go
in any Wednesday afterwards.  I suspect maybe they have some time
blocked for walk-ins?

.. but Philip will be there that day, going alone, as it said that they
have a limited number of seats available for waiting and only people
that needed to be there for assistance should attend.

So, I'm glad that they send us somewhere closer for fingerprinting!

All of our other appts. and interview were in Indianapolis.
