getting married in Massachusetts

hi just a quick question, i'm a british citizen and partner is an
american citizen, we are getting married quite soon in boston, and we
plan to return back to the uk to live for a few years, do i need any
special documents to travel on visa etc or can i just use my passport
turn up get married and then leave the country when the paper work to
bring her to the uk is done?

You can enter on the WVP, but make sure you have PLENTY of evidence
of your life in and ties to the UK.  You must be able to convince
the officer at the POE that you WILL definitely return to the UK
within 90 days.

How long it takes to get your wife's UK visa is irrelevant - though
AFAIK this is quite easy and quick to get.

thanks very much ! any idea how i would go about doing that? apart from
the fact i have a morgage, steady job, family and other things.....
would that suffice?

Yes, it will.  Do you know which British Consulate will you be using
for her visa?
