Hi All,

1) Other than the "Sealed envelope", the I-94 and Custom Declaration
form that is filled out on the flight to the US, and a passport with the
K-1 visa inside, is there any other documents my fiancee needs in hand
when she gets to immigration?

2) Oh and a stupid question but I get confused on the easy stuff. On
the I-94 question 8 says "Country Where You Live". Well, if they let
her through immigration that would be USA soooo... technically at the
time of filling out the form, one doesn't really know the answer. See -
I get hung up on the easy stuff.

I would also have the chest X-ray (if one was done and given to you at
K1 medical) they usually don't look at it, but i always prefer to have
something and not need it, than not have it and need it! I think I
left the country bit blank and filled it out in front of the officer
when i had asked him what to put? Good luck and everything, welcome to

I believe at the time of filing the I-94, your fiancé is either inside a
flying aircraft or onboard a sailing boat heading towards the U.S.A She
should know that the destination is the same country where she would be
living in.
Unless she gets shanghaied by somebody other than the one she's supposed to
marry, then that country where she would be living in could possibly be not
the USA.

When I came over on a K1 just last year, the list you mention is what I
brought. I agree with the chest x-ray too. Part of the AOS process
requires another medical and because the chest x-ray was less than a
year old, they were able to use it for a second time without me having
to have (and pay) another one done.

Make sure she completes the White custom form and not the green one.

Other than that, have fun and enjoy the moment.

The key word in your question is "if". She does not live in the US until
she is admitted, so at the time she completes the I-94...
