Hello,
Has anyone sent this fee:- I-601 to the London Embassy? from the U.K.?
and how did you purchase  it?
I was told to send an "INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDER" and the consular
officer put a "post-it" note on the forms saying "INTERNATIONAL MONEY
ORDER" that  he handed me back.
These forms included all details on how to submit the waiver together
with the Fee..............Where the hell do I get this "international
money order"? and/or will this be ok if, someone sends me a money order
from the U.S. so that I can submit to London?  if the money order was
bought in the U.S?

An International Money Order is also called a Foreign Draft.

If you are a USC living in US go to a Bank or Foreign Exchange Outlet
(American Express / Travelex etc) and ask for a Foreign Draft in UK
Pounds Sterling.

They will then write you a check which you can send to the US Embassy in
London for them to cash.

then you can issue the check in US Dollars as a Foreign Draft. If you
actually in the US issue a bankers draft or money order.

Thank you for replying,
The U.S. consulate do want it payable in U.S. dollars, therefore my wife
is buying a money order in the States and mailing it to me, if this
don`t work.....well? we are shafted cuz the money order will be made
payable to the "Disburing officer"
Thanks again.

go to any foreign exchange outlet in the UK and ask for a US Dollar
Foreign Draft. It's simple and saves time.

Is there not a form on the Embassy web site that you fill out to pay with a
credit card.

Can you not send that back with the I-601?

Teach me to look properly, that is for the I-130. It seems they don't have a
credit card form for the I-601 and the form itself says cash or cheque.
Strange as they have credit card forms for just about everything else.
