Hi, Everyone. I have a question.

I did fingerprints two months ago and got letter for initial interview
for in the middle of next month.  So there is 2 month and half between
the fingerprint to interview.

How long is the background check taking time for clearance? From the
time I took fingerprint to interview day, do you think it should be
enough time for checking and clearance?  The reason I asked is that I
have been reading posts and heard that the officer might not approve nor
stamp on your passport if your name is still not checked and cleared
from FBI even though you have interview.

Thanks.

I had my fingerprints taken in April an interview on May 3....13wks
later I am still waiting for my clearance to come back......but yet my
friend had her interview in April an her fingerprints taken in March an
the clearance was clear at the time so everyone is different for the
next.  There is no set deadline that they have it done in you can just
pray an hope that your one that takes the lesser time but keep in mind
you never know.
