Received my GC this week, but only after a huge mission in trying to
track it down....

at the time of my interview I changed my mailing address with USCIS as
we were moving like a week later, sweet... er not quite. My GC was
approved and sent for processing on 20th June and was then mailed to my
old address! So for the past month I have been sitting around checking
the mail everyday, waiting for it to arrive. Luckily for us, the people
who moved into our old apt saved all our mail, which sould have been
fordwarded by USPS, but never was! So to cut a long story short, My GC
was issued over a month ago, but USCIS forgot Or just didnt bother to
update my address at the time of the interview, USPS then did not have
the mail forwarding setup properly for my new address and that left me
having to try track down all my NB mail...glad its all sorted out now
though. Moral of the story, double check and then check again when you
ask a USCIS official to update your address, then tripple check with
USPS that all your mail is actually going to be forwarded.

So, the GC is actually white, not pink, nor green lol. it has some
green writing on the back but I was under the impression that it would
be pinkish. It also shows an epiration date in two yrs time, which
would mean I would get a new card once I have had the conditions
removed I assume?

Sorry for the longwinded story, just wanted to share my bizzare
situation.

Congratulations!! :D  And yes, that's correct, once you have the
conditions removed, you turn in your 2-year card, and you get the 10-
year card.

Best Wishes,

I am glad you got it

Just to correct this notion... USPS is NOT supposed to forward any mail
from USCIS. Apparently, that's the law.
