Immigration Forum / USA Marriage Base / August 2006EAD renewed for less than one year
I just received my new EAD (my fourth: I filed for AOS in August 2003 and I am still waiting for a passport stamp), and instead of the usual 12 months, it was renewed for just 10. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there some form of policy change? I note that based on various other postings, I seem to approaching record- setting territory for this forum as regards length of wait for an AOS application; it's not a record I'm very interested in holding...
