I just received my new EAD (my fourth: I filed for AOS in August 2003
and I am still waiting for a passport stamp), and instead of the usual
12 months, it was renewed for just 10. Has anyone else experienced this?
Is there some form of policy change?

I note that based on various other postings, I seem to approaching record-
setting territory for this forum as regards length of wait for an AOS
application; it's not a record I'm very interested in holding...

Do you mean it's good for only 10 months after your current EAD
expires, or do you mean that it was issued with start/end date that was
only 10 months?

It's good for a total of 10 months: it starts in September and ends in
July of 2007.

Sorry... that's a new one on me!
