Hiya guys, it's me again!
I have my interview next Thursday, and Friday will be 90 days from
the receipt of my I-765 application (July 6th). I still haven't
received the EAD.

I received a RFE requesting more info on spouse's income, and the docs
we then submitted were received on August 12th.

Would my I-765 be delayed because of the RFE? Should I ask for it at
my interview if they don't give me a decision yet because of
background checks?

Thanks!

The RFE will not delay your EAD.  They go to two separate areas.  Yes,
bring your receipt for the second EAD with you and if you aren't
approved at the interview ask if you can please get an interim EAD.

2nd EAD? I only applied for one. Should I apply again? As I say, the 90
days is up the day after my interview........

Is it time for the pub yet?

Gosh, you either got a very quick interview, or you filed for your EAD
very late in the process!

AFAIK you are entitled to ask for an interim EAD if 90 days have passed
since receipt of your application.

Everything was received on July 6th, which was then followed by the RFE.
