I entered the US on a K1 visa, married and then divorced a short 3
years later.  I do have permanent resident status. Now I am getting
remarried to a US citizen and will be changing to his last name.  My
passport and permanent resident card are both in my current name.  Am
I required to change my passport/green card to my new last name after
I remarry?  Can I travel outside the US with my existing green card &
passport along with a copy of my marriage certificate?

I hate to pay the fee to replace the permanent resident card /
passport if I'm not required to.

You're required to keep the information up-to-date, which means if you
change your name, you have to apply for a new card.

You aren't required to change your name...

As for travel, after you apply for your new card, the difference in
names won't prevent you from traveling (traveling without meeting the
requirements to report your new information might cause problems).
