Can an Australian Permanent resident travel/migrate to New zealand with

I saw a posting here which says an Aussie PR is also a NZ PR.

We were granted the permananent residence(PR)visa in Jan 2002 and We
validated our PR visa in Feb 2002, we have not yet moved permanentaly
to australia i.e. we are outside Australia in the Gulf.
We now have a new born baby, born in march 2003. We have now is the
