I am a holder of a 457 business visa to July 2007 but have noticed
my passport expires early in 2006.
Does anyone know if the visa is
still valid in an expired passport or will it have to be renewed in

I would like to thank you all those who have given me valuable
information and advice.  I found that the information given by them and
the other people in this forum are very useful for me to determine

Folks,
Last night I filled out the visa form for a skilled independent
application. My wife being a beauty scored 125 points, so we make the
grade on that score. She is the main applicant being a midwife.

My case officer has advised me she will request assurance bond (visa
139) as soon as she received oz police checks (i have been told by oz
they are on their way!). however my aunty who is my sponsor and assurer
is just off on her holidays and won't be around for a good few weeks.

HI everyone Does you know what happens when this occurs? I am worried
about it and wondered if anyone had any knowledge or experience of this

After surgery last year (at age 35!!) I now have to take HRT. I pay for
prescriptions (approx ??6 for 2 months supply). The stuff I use is a
gel, rubbed onto leg....

This may sound a bit obvious, but I wanna be on the safe side.
Will be making my initial entry (post grant) to Aus in a couple of weeks.
Just wanna confirm that the piece of sticker on my passport is sufficient to
get me through immigration? No need for ETA or whatever.
