Nurses still get priority over most other applications, but timescales do still vary. A debit from your account just means you have a valid application - if you meet the requirements you will get a visa,

Does anyone know how much do the medicals cost if done in US ? I am not sure if it would be covered under insurance and going by the normally high costs in US, I am worried that the medicals may be a big dent on my monthly paycheck.

When I received my requests for the medicals and police checks I also had a request for " School Qualifications", now my agent thought this was done in error just a slip on the computer by the caseofficer, we are on a 138 visa, me with the family, hubbie with the job.
