Just a quick question for anyone who may know or have had recent experience in the length of time it takes for FBI reports to come back. My husband's fingerprints were sent on 13th August (almost 7 weeks ago) by the local Australian police to the FBI.

Had some Great news today, Just came back from holiday to find a yellow envelope....not quite a grant but Pre-Grant!, have now e-mailed off requested info, copies of passport etc and hopefully everything will be ok.

my agent rung today to tell me they have received confirmation letter and it stated on it 12-14 weeks (priority) he also said there has been a back log as they are being more stringent on checking documents and trade certificates ,because they have had an influx of dodgy papers from ...

I'm just at my Skills assessment stage and see my SIR application going in 12/05. I have a some general Qs; - ACS require a JP to 'authenticate' my documents [degree, passport etc). I just called our local magistrates who know nothing to this kind of service,

For those who are planning to be assessed by IEAust, take a new look at their website. There is a new Kit for assessment which is valid from october 4. The old style applications are accepted until december or something

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but what is a pre grant letter? In one thread, with the pre grant letter was a request for copies of passports, ours were requested with our meds so would that mean we won't get a pre grant letter?

Im uk based applying for 136 skilled visa which I want to front-load. Ive got 1101 from AHC in London, and Ive requested my UK Police character reference for ?10 about 2 weeks ago. I'm looking at the Form 1101 which is Police Checks in Aus.
