Just personal thought...............Is it a coincident?..............
That they (DIMA) gave us the new visa (SIR visa) in June with a lower
pass mark of 110 points. And the subsequent influx of ?failed TRA? as
seen in recent threads. They seamed to have opened the floodgate for

One of the questions on the STNI form is how much money are you taking
and provide evidence, well we have to sell our house yet and so we've no
idea how much we will be taking and obviuosly we're not going to put it
on the market until we've definatley got our visa.

Evening all,
Just seen my ACS aqpplication status (as per the ACS website) and it
says - With assessor.
Any ideas what this means?

graphic pre press and got a positive result, our agent sent our visa
forms out to dimia in september04 meds and police checks requested 23

visit my girlfriend there too, i was looking at travel insurance
online but my girlfriend says that i wont need it for the year as i
would be covered for healthcare etc while i'm there. i'm quite

This is probably the worst question anyone has asked but I soon will be
starting to apply for 136 visa. The General skilled migration booklet
says to send all applications form outside or inside OZ to Adelaide
processing centre but the DMIA London website says to post applications

Going through the checklist for skilled independent I have noticed that
there are requirements for the same document 2/3 times.  ie birth
certificate. to confirm age / name of parents etc.  Is the process to
send copies for each section or just one referenced to each section?

My agent wanted
Signature, name, role, address, date, and offical stamp.
But after 2 hours in the local court house signing 70 pages I only got

Our meds were sent on the 17 Sept 04 [136 Skilled independent]. I
managed to wait 6 weeks then I emailed my CO. She said meds were
received and she was waiting for 1022 change of address form,then she
would be in touch. I then sent another 1022 in case the first was lost

We are a family of four; husband, wife and two children aged 18 and 16
who arrived in Aus 31 Oct.
Visa was granted 21 June - a Class UC Temporary Resident sub
class 457 visa.

wooohooo, I checked the NZ immigration website and it stated that my
Expression of Interest has been selected today. Now have to wait for
preliminary checks and then hopefully invitation to apply for residency.

my sister has been sponsored by my other sister iwhi lives in Australia.
So she has sponsored one person. My question is could my sister in
Australia still sponsor me and my family (defaco and son). I have looked
