I am preparing to sit NAATI translation test. Anybody have done it recently?
I've heard it's very difficult and I am seeking another opinion.

Looking to emigrate to NZ. Just about to submit my expression of interest
form but wondered if I should look at using an agent. I am a little nervous
of getting swindled as I know nothing about the process. Would you recommend
using an agent, and if so any decent ones?

My wife and I are moving to Melbourne on Thursday for 2 years (we think
- although everyone says we'll never come back!). We're both doctors and
are going out on sponsored business visas (457). My sister-in-law is
really tempted to come out as well, perhaps for a year on a working

Our application has already been lodged with DIMIA, I dont have a case
officer yet - but I do have a slight dilemma!!!
We are hoping to get married this year anywhere from May-August and to

Can anyone comment on time taken between PCC/Med being submitted for
processing.... to VISA being issued....I've seen somewhere it will be
4-8 wks but would be interested to know peoples actual experiences
...(for when we actually get a CO!)

Completed our medicals today.
One problem High Blood Pressure / wouldn't go below 150 over 90 which
means I'm being referred to a cardiologist for an ECG test.
Does anyone have any experience of this and how it will effect our

Just got my police checks back.I have a conviction on there when
was 16. I am now 49. Nothing to serious,basically got probation for
year.Never been in trouble since.Long time ago 33 years.
Does anyone know if that will go against me as it was so long ago?

lives in Perth to phone last night,although they would not tell her much
,they did say we have a CO and gave us her email address.Dont know what

just found out today after 7 1/2 mths wait who our co is and which
region we r in. we r using an agent and are waiting for a response back
from our co with regards progress just seeing who else is 136 modl from
june 2005 in region 2 with co called Sandra

I have to supply a certified copy of each page of my passport to DIMIA
when I lodge my 47ES.  My passport was only renewed May 2004, will I
need to supply copies of the pages of my old passport as well or will my

We're going to the Emigrate fair in Glasgow in March, and are planning
on taking a pile of CVs with us "just in case".  Can anyone who's ever
been to this type of thing before advise if we should take the UK or the

Hi, I have a question. Me and my wife both have 457 visas. Going to
apply for PR. According to what I know with ENS waiting period for
social security payments is two years. Is this the same case with

My husband has just been offered a position in Sydney and we are going
via the sponsorship visa (457 business long stay). Am I right in
thinking that the company would apply on our behalf or do we need to
fill in a separate visa form as well? Could anyone who has been through
