A friend of mine who also has a plan to move to Australia has had a syphilis and he worries where it could be a serious problem. Of course, he got over the disease. Is this still can be a problem to get a residency? Thanks.

We are still waiting for our skills assessment result (been told it is nearing completion) which should hopefully be positive and we are applying for a 139 visa. Unfortunately we go on holiday on 20th June for 2 weeks by which time we would have missed the deadline for 139.
