Hi, I recently signed up at a new gym and they took my blood pressure.
It came out as 140/90 and apparently this is slightly high. I was told a
similar thing a couple of years ago when I went for a minor op. Does
anyone know if this likely to cause me a problem when I go for my meds

Hi you knowing people out there,
I applied for a 137 (STNI) visa. Four of my kids are under 18 and it is
no problem taking them with me. Two over 18 have no difficulties getting
their own 136 visa as they have professions Australia is looking for.

Just a thought and although this won't help me it might help others to
decide which Agent to use.
We have used an agent, who is doing a fantastic job, on the grounds of
'word of mouth' and to this date still don't know what their success

I've been reading for a while now and I'm trying to work out why
Australian companies don't offer sponsorship very easily??
Is it too much paper work or too much cost for them??
Or is it a attitude thing, that they don't want to hand them out??

For those of you who have recently (past year or so) made an application
for an unmarried partner to emigrate, can you advise how long it took to
receive confirmation of the visa following submission to the Consulate
in the UK, and how strict they were, if relevant?  Just to give us ...

passed ACS, bursting to tell someone....  beer later as so happy that we

is the only way to pay a 136 by credit card. it says on the 136
application you can pay by money order,bank cheque of credit card but i
was just on  a link on the dimia web site that said if applying from the
uk it was debit or credit card only.

We have booked our meds for 7th December and today our daughter of 3
years of age has been prescribed antibiotics for a possible urine

We have just had a call from our agent Visa Go (Darren Chat), we have
had our visa granted 136 Modl.
We are stunned, we thought we would not get it until dec/ jan at
the earliest.

Canadians in Australia and New Zealand who are eligible for citizenship
may want to accelerate their application, just in case the Canadian
government is really serious about restricting dual citizenship:

my husband is the primary applicant and he has lodged our
application papers (BN 136) to DIMIA.....we did not claim for spouse
points as he reached 120 points (we assumed he would be able to get
the 6 band on ietls)

Does anyone know if there has been any more talk about earning 5 extra
points for fluently speaking english?  I know it was being talked about
back in the spring.
