I received an "ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RECEIPT OF VISA APPLICATION"  in their
office 27 August 2007, when do you think I'll even get a case officer, Does
it really take this long, or do you think there could be a complication in
my application?

I paper lodged my Skill independant sub category 175 (MODL) on 24th June 2008
and sent my IELTS Result on 15th July 2008. I did receive acknowledgement
letter for visa application and IELTS result from DIAC via e-mail.
I am concern that is it going to effect the timeline for my case ...

Hi just wondering if I can apply for citizenship if I am only on
permanent residency for just 1and half year?

I had sent medicals of my wife and son and were not getting updated on the
status page. I sent a request to the aspc on monday and got answer from the
offcer that my case is yet to be allocated to the CO.
Their updates came on today after two days !!..very fast and appriciable

Will time processing of immi australia skilled independent visa 175 be
fast?
after opening brisbane aus immi processing centre,will the process be
fast??

I have applied for a 475 Visa in 11 Jan 08 (online). Medicals, PPC and
all other documents sent.
No CO allocated till date. (Medicals have been recd and finalized)
I am getting some good job offers here with high pay packets.
