One of my friends told me that you can apply for permanent residence
only being outside Canada and that your application will be rejected
if you already work in Canada. I have failed so far to find

I am planning to land on 3rd week of Decemeber. I have "one time
entry" stamp on my passport expring in April 2004. My passport expires
on May 2004. Do I need to have my passport  valid for a year from the

How does the visa officer consider the overall band score as compared
to individual band scores in sub categories(speaking, reading,
listening,writing)? What if the over score is 7.5 but score in one of
the language ability is 6.5?
