We are a long-term same-sex couple from the US.  My partner is the
applicant, I am the common-law partner.  We are married in BC but that has
no federal standing.  I am a homemaker and have no income.  My question:
Can we sponsor my father based on my partner's income?

Visa office requested me to send my passport. It is requested to send the
original passports in the grey envelope provided. But if I decide to put
this grey envelop into an UPS or Fedex envelope to send, does it cause any

US is not Canada, of course, but these seem to be closely related
systmes of education, etc. So if a person has a US earned PhD, and
working experience in US, will he/she still be denied by employers in
Canada many oportunities based on no "Canadian experience"?

When we filed for immigration, my wife was Principal Applicant. Now
since her Green card application is at EAD stage in US, Can I only

My husband and I would like to plan a trip back to my home town for a
