When making my first landing in Canada to get my PR stamped, should I inform the VISA Officer that I am engaged to be married? I have not signed any official marriage certificate, this will be done after I get my PR stamped.

I have resided in Canada since 2001, I was issued a TRP in 2002 and have renewed yearly since then. Last year I was adviced that I must apply for PR in the TRP class to be considered this year for a TRP.

A new law returns Canadian citizenship to just about anyone who ever lost it AND gives Canadian citizenship to the children (but not grandchildren) of former Canadians. If you know of anyone this applies to, let them know. See video here:
