I married a US citizen and filed I485 at April, 2005.
I went to Local INS and applied the emergence Advance Parole at 5/25,
but they rejected my application as they only approved A/P to someone if
your close relative who was dead or sick in hosiptal with supporting

My USC is changing her surname to mine after we're married.Will this
hinder us opening joint bank accounts,getting credit etc because of her
not having her maiden name?.When they run credit checks,will her maiden
name credit rating show up?.Lastly,i have my name on the house deeds ...

Just curious.  We're in Los Angeles, our lawyer filed everything for
AOS two months ago, all the checks we wrote for UCSIS cleared about 1

My dear friend is loosing his drivers license because under new laws
the Dept. of Motor Vehicles is requiring a social security number.

My wife and I each applied for 2006.  Seems a few Aussies on the group have
already been notified.  I'm guessing this means we've missed out this year.
However, I wondered if anyone knows whether they send out the notifications

Help! How do I correct the mistakes? I am filling out everything by

Friend of mine, came into the US a couple of years back for 80 days
legally on the visa waiver. She then went up to Canada for ten days and
came back into the US.

One more question. While I am going thru the N-400 or DV-2006 process,
if I change my residence and mailing address(same state just another
town 20mins away, still same service center), how do I notify INS or
KCC? Would an address change be problematic, such as extra delays during

My friend came here 2 years ago on a visa waiver that he filled out on
the plane he went back to the UK and then came back on another visa
waiver a little over a month ago....he was suppose to stay for 90 days
but had a family emergecy and left early....he would like to return to
