I am working on H1b in US, with I-485 pending. My brother who is in
India, has got I20 from a very reputed college in New York for Master
of Science degree. Can he show my sponsorship letter in the F1 visa
interview? I will send a letter saying that I will encourage him to go

At the time of Visa interview, officer gave me form 221(g) and asked to
me get a document from my employer about - “PLEASE PROVIDE THE LIST OF
ALL STARTING DATES FOR EMPLOYEE WHOS H1B’S WERE SUBMITTED”.
Rest all documents were perfect.

If one has applied for green card while on H1-B, and labor
certification is pending for a year or more, one can apply for 1-year
extensions on H1. I am on such a 7th year H1, labor still pending. I
wanted to know how easy or hard it is to change jobs at this time. I

I have applied for Labor Certification in 2001 and later changed it to
RIR. My employer posted the required ads and all, and the case was
transferred to the Philadelphia Processing Center about a year ago.

Had a quick question about h1 transfer . Not sure abt how many pay

I came into the US on a H1. Was issued a I-94 on entry. Then when I did
a visa transfer, the lawyer preparing the I-129 wrote in a completely
wrong I-94 number (not one or two digit typo, the I-94 entered is
somebody else's!). This goof up was over 2 years ago. My I-94 issued on

When submitting the N-400 application should I submit the application fee
and biometrics fee as one combined payment or two separate payments (i.e two
separate checks)

I have two friends that want to move to the US from Estonia to work for a
year and check it out.  Can someone please tell me the best way to advise
them to go about this?   I can get them work here in the states once they

I sent my wife's and my N400 application to Vermont on Dec. 12.  Both
applications were in the same envelope and each had a check for the fees
attached.
The check for my application has been cancelled on Dec. 22.  Nothing so far
