Bringing wife to the US when on OPT...experts pls advice05 Sep 2006 22:16 GMT2
I am a student who will soon start work on OPT.  Since the H1 visas are
over for this year, I will be on OPT for almost a year before I get my
H1 next Oct (Oct 1 2007, hoping my H1 next year gets approved!!).
I am going to get married Decmeber this year or Jan/feb next year.

The visa holder B1 is valid for 10 years but I-94 entry into US only has 6

I entered the USA on a visa waiver last year - I'm a dual Aussie/Brit
and engaged to an American (we applied for the US fiance visa but gave
up on the excruiating wait times and have since then cancelled and
applied for the Australian fiance visa and are marrying in Australia
