My mother in law applied for visitor visa from her home country
Paksitan. I had sent an affidavit of support and invitation letter to
her. She has five kids living with her at this time. Two are married and
three are unmarried.

I am currently on a L1 visa. Am looking at getting it transferred to
F1. Had a couple of queries:
- Since I would be applying for the change in status from within US,
how long does the transfer processing take?

Hi, I'm an au -pair changing my visa from J1 to F-1, my visa expires on
Dec. 23. I sent all the documemts and I got the  action of notice on
the August 28.
I'm applying for the spring classes. And I don't have the 2 years-rule.

Hi frnds I got H1B approval on 7th aug I hav a question
regarding stamping .
My qualifications are such as 10th + 3 and half year Diploma in
Comupter Engg from State Technical Board + BE (3yr) in computer science

I applied for N-400 in May and was finger printed in June. In July they
were processing as of November 2005. But, they have no retrogressed to
May 2005.
Has anyone recently completed their N-400 process in New Orleans?

Is this what they mean by "Muslim tolerance'?

wow i jsut had my greencard interview today and it was WEIRD! With a
capital W. Nothing could have prepared me for that.
I am applying through marriage. Just a formality really. We really got
married, we really are happy and pregnant. Lawyer even said we didnt

I have H1B status. I'm in my eight year, and waiting for LCA, so I get 1
year extensions. I haven't bothered going back home to get a new visa.
If I wanted to spend a week in Hawaii, can I do that without obtaining a
visa? It's part of the USA, right?

Finally after becoming a citizen my wife's case was upgraded and she got
a interview date (4 and half years later!!!).
Anways I have a question about police certificates.
My wife has visited canada twice in the past for periods of 7 months

Is it possible? I'm trying to find answers on USCIS website but can't
really tell.
I have been a permanent resident for 3-4 years, married to a US citizen
so I am eligible to naturalise. We are going to be returning to the UK

Does anyone know the regulations regarding American's with British
lineage (Scottish) attaining dual citizenship for the UK?
