Here's what I'm going to do. In a few weeks, my GC will expire so (being in Canada) I'm going to drive to the border and surrender it with an I-407. I presume they will still let me into the US right then and there as a plain old Canadian Citizen for a weekend of shopping? I

Are there any priviledges a canadian landed immigrant who is an H1B holder can expect? It used to be that if you are a Canadian landed immigrant and a citizen of a British Commenwealth country, you can enter the USA with your valid H1B papers but no visa stamp in the passport.
