Leaving Job for Religious Traning: H1-B Visa implication13 Nov 2006 16:37 GMT3
I'll be leaving my job for religious training in January at which point
my H1-B will be terminated. However I wish to stay in the US for
another 6 months to pursue religious training at a buddhist temple.
Will this mean I will need to transfer my visa from H1-B to B-2 upon
H1-B holder, apply for GC (only 140 filed), going abroad?13 Nov 2006 15:22 GMT2
Hi, as in subject, will this be a problem when I come back to US? What
about after I filled I-485?

So I applied for my greencard, everything went smoothly. Had
fingerprints, had interview everything was fine. The interview was very
weird but in the end the guy was convinced, he even gave us his direct
line at immigration which seemed a little strange but useful to us.
