I am a UK citizen who was recently laid off from a H-1B job in the US. I
was told by lawyers that I had 30 days to find a new employer in the US
to run a H-1B transfer. If I do not find one, I will be returning to the

I will be finishing my 1st 3 yrs of H1b in March 07. I had a h1b
transfer approved last April (April 2006).
Please let me know if i should be filing for a h1b extension,
considering i recently had a transfer approved.

If you are deported from the US due to criminal conviction does that mean
you are banned from the US forever or is there some kind of paperwork you
can do to come back temporarily or whatever, assuming you let enough time
pass?
