this is probably just me, and is not directed to any particular person.
why is a poster's question seemed to gravitate towards what their
rights
are. this is especially true while they are exploring ways to immigrate

When an I-130 for a child of US Citizen is approved, do we have to then
apply for the I-824?  The child is in England, (age 10).  Will she have
to wait for an interview in London, do the medical etc like a spouse
would? I thought visa numbers were automatically available for the

My friend has been refused to be issued a H1B visa (to USA) at chennai
consulate on the grounds of 221(g) referring "additional processing
information". She has been given a blue form where the officer ticked
for "additional processing information". The officer seems to have said

Well, Micro$oft and their ilk are at it again, pushing for more H-1B
visas even as the wages they pay decline. The H-1B visa program is
supposed to be for workers with rare, highly valued skils, but the fact
that the average wage paid to H-1B's is lower than to American workers
