someone please help....
my friend applied for H1b to the US and got 221g refusal...
it has been 2 months since she submitted the documents but yet to hear
anythgin from them.. its the chennai consulate by the way. When

My wife is applying for U.S. citizenship. I am a natural-born U.S.
citizen, and she has been a permanent resident for more than 5 years.
We've been married for 7+ years.
Onb of the first questions on the N-400 form asks to check one box:

I have a questions. I used to live in the US for a few years and when
I left the country, I left some credit cards and some bills unpaid.
Now I would like to travel to the states and I was wondering, if the
Immigration authority can actually check on these kind of things.

Ok, so my mom had an interview today for AOS, and they wrote on her
passport that I-485 is pending. They also wrote some numbers and codes
on her passport, but they didn't stamp it, everything is handwritten.
They kept her VISA and told her that she will receive something in the

My husband went to US from india on h1 visa - on 28th of november
2006. he placed the request for SSN after a week, unluckily he
received in the month of january. After that his salary got processed.
Sad part is that he is not able to claim his tax as my dedember 2006
