Has anyone used any to move to the US? Hubby and I are hoping to move to
the US. We entered the Diversity Lottery program, keeping fingers
crossed we will get a letter any time between April and July to tell
we're in, but we're also looking at others ways to try to move there.

O.k I have heard conflicting reports about Criminal records. I know they
 are permanent, even if spent.

I am currently on an E-3 and my wife will be coming to the US later in
the year to join me. Whilst the E-3D doesn't have restrictions on who
she can work for, is she allowed to start her own business? She's a
makeup artist wanting to get a kick start while overseas and really
