My partner and I are moving to America in June. He will have a J1 visa

Has anyone used any to move to the US? Hubby and I are hoping to move to
the US. We entered the Diversity Lottery program, keeping fingers
crossed we will get a letter any time between April and July to tell
we're in, but we're also looking at others ways to try to move there.
