my friend Sally (H1-b) and Robert (H4) got a working visa here in us. Sally got an H1-b visa and H4 visa for my Robert as a dependent. Six months later they decided to seperate but didnt get divorced. Robert with H4 visa now live with his friend in a different state.

On our application for optional practical training/EAD we are suppose to mention the start and end dates of the OPT. Lets assume that my OPT will get approved. Now, I was wondering whether it is guaranteed that I will get OPT for the dates that I had mentioned on the form.
