So I want to go on vacation out of the country, unfortunately since they stopped the service whereby you could send off your passport to get your visa stamped, you have to do it out of country, I am in CA and maybe heading to Russia for a vacation.

My husband and I are from two different countries, and we've been living together in US for the last seven months, under his F1 visa (that is, I got an F2). He's finishing his PhD quite soon and we had almost decided to go with a PostDoc offer in US that has J visas.
