I have read through a chunk of the posts on here but for clarity just
wanted confirmation on the following, if at all possible:-
1) Form I-765. My wife on a L-2 visa will need to complete this to get
  Work Authorisation. What other documents are required such as a SSN

I would like to submit my application before the fee increase takes
effect at the end of July. I am wondering if the process is straight
forward? I used Catholic Charities in the past to do all the
paperwork for my work authorisation, green card etc. CC did charge us

Help!! I sent my application for change of status to F1 in May. I
checked the processing time in california service center from time to
time. Last month it showed they are processing applications received on
Feb. 13, 2007 but today it shows that they are processing application

my company is sponsoring me for a green card. my I-140 was approved in
may with a priority date of oct. 06 (whatever that means). currently
on H1B until dec. my I-485 was received in may and I have the receipt

Hi, we have an approved I-140 and all EB-3 are current. Just a few
days ago, our immigration lawyer got the bill for the visa fees from
the NVC which we are going to pay of course ! My question is : can
anyone tell me what happens next ? I know that our case will

I applied for my H1B visa this year, April 2007. My H1 sponsor/employer
has received the 1-129 approval notice.
Does anyone know what is the next step? Do I have to wait for the US
embassy to notify me???

I know I can get a new one from the UK Embassy in London...but do I
seriously need to fly back to the UK with the new passport and have my
visa interview (again) and duplicate H1B put into the new Passport or is
