my name was not interview with my family.
my family gave interview and embassy asked for original I140 and I824
approval notices to check my eligibility.
i submitted and now after 2 weaks got the follwing reply:

Came to the US on a K1, got married, went through AOS, and 5months ago
applied for the 10 year green card which is still pending due to the
backlog.
Worked in the US from September 2004 to August 2007 for the same employer,

Both myself and my husband applied for H1B visa this year. Mine did not
make through the lottery but my husbands visa is approved. Now I plan to
apply for H4 visa.

First, just a little background...
I was living/working in NYC on a blanket L1 (-A) until June last year.
After 18-months, my employer pulled me back to the UK and I've since
left the company. I now work for a different company, but there maybe a

I was on L1 Visa until last October and then my company transferred my
visa status to H1B . But I have not gone out of the country after the
approval and so H1B stamp does not exist on my passport. My question is
without the H1B stamp, is it possible to get the H1B visa transferred ...

Married 10 years ago in the US.  Had a lot of trouble with immigration
(mostly due to their incompetence) but finally 5 years later got my
green card without conditions.
One year later we spontaneously decided to move back to the UK, and I

While filling the DS 156 form, I realised after printing that I have
made a small mistake and left a field blank. Also , the barcode on the
last page is not printed properly. Can I fill another form online or is
it once submitted, I can't make changes?

I have a childhood friend who is now living and working in California
under a H1B, he is 45 years old.
When he was 25, while illegally crossing the border he was apprehended
by immigration officers and put in jail. He was photographed and

Ok, heres the story...I am hoping to go home for xmas to visit my
family..but my husband pointed out to me this morning that the name on
my passport is still my maiden name, while the GC shows my married name.
Will this be a problem and will I need to get the name on my passport

My green card application is pending at the London US embassy.
Basically I went for the interview, everything was ok, but I needed to
submit an additional police certificate from my country of birth. So

We had our green card interview yesterday.  We had an attorney but it
was a little upsetting because the law firm sent a junior lawyer with
us - as the more experienced lawyer had some out of town business on

I'm in my 9th year of H1B. One 3 year renewal and then yearly renewals
since. The H1B expires end of October.
My LC was approved early this year. Visa numbers became available for
EB3 in July, so we are submitting the I-140, I-131, I-485, I-765 and
