I would like to know if applying to the DV lottery forbid you to look for other visa later? I have heard from a friend that if you play the lottery, you cannot apply for a regular h1 or anything else after?

I"m filling out the N-400 right now for citizenship, one section asks for places lived in the past 5 years, and I'm not sure whether for the time I studied abroad, I should put down the abroad add or my parents home add in the US.

I am a Canadian permanent resident and was a refugee before, so I have no passport to travel outside. I have applied for travel document which takes around 2 months or so and then by getting US visa, I should be able to visit US by air right?

My 5 years on Green Card will complete in Mar, 2008. I am travelling extensively outside US but would like to apply for the citizenship when it is time. I do have almost 42 months of stay in the US in the past 5 years - so I definitely qualify for the continuous period test.
