I have recently had a really bad experience with an immigration lawyer where she really gave me bad advice, steered me to the wrong visa for my needs which is now about to be denied. Does anyone have any experience of getting back money from a lawyer?

I reached US on 15 Dec 2007 on B1 visa. Now the problem is that the immigration offical, has put my last day of stay here as 14 Jan 2007, which has already elapsed. It must have been some day in 2008(the max being 90 days from 15 Dec 2007).
