police certificate question PLEASE HELP31 Jul 2003 13:47 GMT1
I lived 13 months in the USA. Do I need a police certificate from
there? Where and how can I get that? Do I need to wait the packet 3?
Or even 4? Or can I apply for the police certificate before that?

When we entered the US last year, Robyn, our k2 was not given the temporary
EAD stamp. We did not bother to waste the money to get him an EAD card since
he is just 10. I am assuming that I can take him now to get a SSN with the

Well I went to the INS office this week to apply for my Advance Parol
and when she was working on the computer I said to her "Do you happen
to see a date on that computer for my interview?" And she said "We're
still at last August."  This is in Philadelphia, slow or what?  Ok my

My wife, a permanent resident of the US, is visiting her home country of
Japan for 2 months with our daughter. Unfortunately, she did not take
the actual green card with her, only her passport. The green card we
keep safely locked away (she's not used to carrying it around; she uses

My wife crossed on her K1 visa 3 months ago.  We were married on 7/19.
I called the BCIS 800 number to find out what the next steps are for her to
adjust her status and get her EAD.
The woman told me to file these docs with my local office..

My wife and I married 2 yrs ago and applied for AOS. She was here on
an F-1 visa as a fulltime college student.  Once she applied for AOS,
she was no longer on the F-1 visa. However, she continued to attend
part time.  When she applied for AOS, we paid $100 for a permit for
